A painting made at the start of an ongoing research and interest for reocurring patterns, symbols and icons in nature and native folks allover the world. With native people, these reocurring shapes are most seen in their clothes, art and equipments.
How are these symbols, icons and shapes so commonly used allover the world, while these folks and cultures never met? Are there more similarities between these people, in their spirituality, connection with nature, or rituals?
Inspired by my first discoveries about this theme, I made this painting, trying to capture this universal feeling of a connection with nature and how it's repeating patterns shining through nature and people show a form of collective consciousness.
